Introducing Lutron Orluna

The Next Chapter of Lutron Intelligent Lighting

Lutron acquired UK architectural lighting manufacturer Orluna in 2025 and introduced the brand to the North American market at CEDIA Expo 2026.

The upcoming North American portfolio expands Lutron Intelligent Lighting into a broader selection of architectural form factors, including:

• Architectural downlights

• Monopoint cylinders
• Pendant cylinders
• Path lighting

The collection is designed to deliver color-consistent illumination across multiple layers of a home’s lighting design.

North American ordering is expected to begin in early 2027.

Lighting Should Enhance Architecture—Not Compete With It

Architectural lighting is about much more than installing recessed fixtures throughout a ceiling.

It is about intentionally shaping light.

A successful lighting design considers:

Orluna gives designers another sophisticated set of tools for accomplishing that goal.

More Ways to Layer Light

A beautiful home rarely relies on one type of fixture.

Lighting can be layered using downlighting, accent lighting, decorative fixtures, wall washing, task lighting, pathway illumination and other architectural techniques.

Orluna’s expanded range gives Premier Lighting & Home Automation more freedom to design those layers while maintaining a consistent quality of light throughout the project.

Orluna + Lutron Control

One of the most exciting opportunities is the relationship between architectural fixtures and the Lutron control ecosystem.

Instead of selecting fixtures first and attempting to make the controls work afterward, lighting and control can increasingly be designed as one complete system.

Orluna products already offer options designed to work with Lutron HomeWorks, RadioRA, and Lutron commercial control platforms.

For homeowners, that means a more cohesive lighting experience.

For architects, builders and interior designers, it means fewer compromises between fixture design, lighting quality and controls.
